About Janice

Janice began her career as an electrologist to provide clients with a much needed permanent and safe hair removal service. Janice completed her training at the provincially approved Swanson School of Electrolysis and became a member of the Western Canadian Electrolysis Association in 1978. With over 40 years of experience and continued training Janice has become an expert in the electrolysis field. Clients will not find a more experienced and detailed technician in the Okanagan area.

Janice differentiates her service by focusing on client needs. Every treatment is customized to ensure effectiveness, comfort, and safety. Janice takes care to assess the skin's reaction throughout the treatment and will modify her approach continuously to best suit each individual. The modality utilized relies on precisely targeting the root of each hair allowing the use a smaller needle, produce effective results, and significantly reduce discomfort. This approach produces permanent and fast results.
Due to Janice's effective method she has produced many happy clients in her community. In 2003 Jan's Electrolysis Studio was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for 25 Years of Continued Growth and Customer Satisfaction.
About Electrolysis

Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair with chemical or heat energy. After a very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle, the hair is removed with tweezers. Most areas of the body can be treated with electrolysis, including the eyebrows, face, abdomen, thighs, breasts, and legs.
